Self care

Self care

I have x numbers of failed attempts to track some kind of self-care. Those of you who have followed me for some time know this. I tend to forget. Put it in the back of my mind. “Tomorrow” – that’s a good day for boring long-term good-for-me things!

It’s not that I don’t like myself – in fact, I tend to spoil myself with treats and gifts, but it’s not that kind I’m talking about… When you reach a certain age (can’t believe I just said that!) your body doesn’t cooperate the way it used to. It needs a bit more long-term care. You know, like exercise (the horror!) and healthy eating at least some days of the week. Vitamins and stuff.

And as I am kind of vain, maybe I should be more careful with my skin and hair.

I’m thinking: why not try to build a reward-based system for myself? I’m kind of good at doing them in my dog training and in my student training. It’s worth a try, right? And that means I can do something useful with that last un-used space in my Filofax…

Yep. I’m gonna give it a go.

I leave you with a puppy-pic because puppies always get me in a good mood.
